Oversees the effective operation of Congress
Is the primary spokesperson and representative of the Marianopolis Student Union
Chairperson at all Congress meetings
Ensures the proper implementation of Congress policies and programs
Director and Congress representative on the Board of Governors of the College
Ensures that all Congress Committees are functional and report to Congress
Ensures upkeep of the Congress office
Ensures that Congress members submit a mid-year and end-year report, and file activity evaluation forms

Responsible for general Congress liaison with school clubs
Help the executive advisor organize a Club Planning Session at the beginning of each semester and compile a guide
Ensure club leaders attend a Congress meeting and that they submit a year-end report
Chief Electoral Office for all Congress elections, by-elections, and referenda
Attends all possible interviews for prospective Congress candidates
Acting President when the office of the President is vacant, or when the President is unable to fulfill his/her duties
Active member of the Financial Policy Committee
Chairperson of the Elections and Referenda Committee
Chairperson of the Yearbook Committee

Oversees the entire financial operations of all MSU clubs
Draws a budget of the MSU funds on an annual basis, in conjunction with other officers of Congress
Sends to the Executive Advisor and to the Financial Policy Committee a weekly update and an accurate financial statement at least twice a semester
Presents an accurate financial report upon request of any Congress member
Is aware of all financial commitments made with MSU funds before they become contractual obligations of the MSU
Files all budget requests, requests for funds, deposits, etc.
